Verifiable won at Augment Decentralized AI Hackathon!
Augment Decentralized AI Hackathon held during EthCC Week in Paris was attended by a curated group of developers, researchers, and mentors, organized by sector-leading companies and projects exploring decentralized AI. The overarching message driving the hackathon was that AI will benefit from being open and distributed in a fair way. Tracks explored included things like notarizing authenticity, personalization with privacy, governance and alignment, value capture, democratizing access to compute and training, etc.
We built Verifiable for Augment Hack to address the social and legal challenges associated with generative AI products.
The framework provides a way for trainers to prove what data was used to train their models, license content directly from creators, and verify the inclusion of content in models.
We used Weavechain for data access and computational lineage, as well as Dockerized tasks for compute.
Our goal was to create a framework that promotes transparency and fair compensation.
Next steps for Verifiable include talking with trainers and implementing filters, providing a way for creators to verify inclusion and receive payments, and expanding to other content forms like art and
We also plan to support content onboarding from pre-existing collections and create intermediary trust points for authors to receive payments.
